All walls are concrete here so drilling is an ear-splitting workout, especially for shelves with multiple brackets. I miss the days of hanging frames with a couple swift hammer taps on a nail. 🔨 Now if we want to hang anything, the kids need to be corralled into another room while we hammer drill into the wall, spraying concrete particles everywhere, and shove in a wall anchor in order to finally put in a screw. The whole building knows if someone decides to hang something. God help us if we measure incorrectly.
